Quote of the Day

"Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius - and a lot of courage - to move in the opposite direction."

DTN Weather Summary
Tuesday Dry for U.S., Canada
Bryce Anderson (Bio) – DTN Meteorologist

Dry conditions will cover all primary U.S. and Canadian Prairies crop regions Tuesday, except for light rain showers in the Deep South and Southeast. Temperatures will be cool for the season in the Midwest, while western, northern and southern areas experience above-normal values. This combination will favor row crop maturation and early harvest in the southern Midwest and Delta, and will allow for continued maturation of crops in northern areas. Meanwhile, heavy rain from former Hurricane Odile in Baja California will cause more flooding in northwestern Mexico, with light rain moving into the Desert Southwest. » More DTN Weather Commentary
